Everything including beautiful scenery, cool weather and your company was very enjoyable. The trip to the ancient place was a very interesting one. Bathing and swimming in the lake was a real fun. Your parents and your sisters treated me dearly. I kindly remember your mother who prepared excellent food for me. Actually the time I spent at your place has given me a new life. I consider myself lucky in having a hospitable friend like you. I like to enjoy your company again at my place. So don't forget to come to my place to spend the next vacation with me.

A COMPLAINT ABOUT A BOY

Dear Sir,

My son who is a student in grade 5 in your school complains that bigger boys collect money from small boys. This happened in the school premises as well as in the bus. Last week I gave him hundred rupees to pay the school fees. A bigger boy had taken the money and my son could not pay the fees. This is not the first time that happened to him. My son does not like to report to the teachers because he is afraid of bigger boys. Therefore I shall be very thankful if you inquire into this matter and take stern action to stop this nuisance.

A LETTER FROM A BOY COMPLAINING ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

Dear Mother,

I received your letter this morning. In your letter you had written that the hostel life is free from domestic difficulties you don't know the truth. I hate being a boarder. The food is far from being tasty. They are badly cooked. The preparations are not to my taste. Dining room is not a clean place. If we report to the principal or to the boarding master, we will be bullied. The bathrooms in the hostel are in deplorable state. Taps are always out of order. We get no water when we need. Our bedroom is too small. In my room there are fie boys with me. Bigger boys play nasty tricks on us. We have complained to the teachers. But no action has been taken. The principal and the teacher don not pay attention to the hostel. Principal has not come to the hostel ever since I came here. I should change the hostel to get rid of these horrible difficulties.
